Technology has been recognized as a significant role within the classroom, and it has a great value among teenagers specially the ones that we are educating. We know that we must look for new ways of teaching mathematics. It does not mean that we have to build plans of studying; it is just to support the ones that already exist, and mix them in the use of new information and communicative technology in such a way that the students can be encouraged and motivated to build their own knowledge.
The main objective is to have a teaching tool that could produce a big impact upon students. It could help us to analyze the improvement that students have and show through the whole process applied to the everyday life. This is the most important educative goal.
In addition, we should make it clear that we could not go on with classical education with contemporary young people who live their life day by day, surrounded by technological gadgets, computer and new programs coming out daily from different areas.
This project promotes the use of “TIC” as a pedagogical tool for the classroom, developing problem-solving topics with fractions, using four kinds of software based on education.
