This research was made to measure the concentration of cadmium and lead in the raw milk of the village of Filandia-Quindio through the spectrometry method of atomic absorption with fire. First, it was made a standardization of the digestion process of the samples using as variables the volume of milk (25 ml, 50 ml y 100 ml) and the volume of nitric acid to the 65% (3ml and 6ml). Second, the treatment B1 was established through the percent of metals’ recovery (50ml of milk and 6ml of nitric acid). Third, a sampling of 4 weeks was performed in the village of Filandia-Quindio with the previous selection of fields through a mathematical calculation and the support of UMATA (Municipal Unit of Farming Technical Support). Fourth, the limits of detection (LOD) and quantification (LOQ) of each metal were determined to valid the veracity of the analytic method getting results of 0,0029 mg/L and 0,0225 mg/L of lead, and 0,0001 mg/L and 0,0041 mg/L of cadmium. Finally, a concentration average was found to the PB of 0,0058 mg/kg, pointing out certain concentrations that do not exceed the limit established in the resolution number 4506 of 2013 in which it is written the maximum quantity of lead in raw milk (0,02 mg/kg). Regarding the Cd, it was found an average concentration of 0,0060 mg/kg, where the farm FF1 and FF4 have the highest levels with quantities of 0,012 mg/kg and 0,010 mg/kg each.
