Con la promulgación y entrada en vigencia de la Ley 1314 de 2009, surge la idea de que la información contable y financiera de las empresas cumpla con estándares internacionales reconocidos. El supermercado PRODUCTOS ANDI, de acuerdo a los requisitos establecidos en el Decreto 3022/13, pertenece al Grupo 2 y debe aplicar el estándar internacional denominado “La Norma Internacional de Información Financiera (NIIF) para las Pequeñas y Medianas Empresas (PYMES)”.
El supermercado PRODUCTOS ANDI, es una empresa comercial cuya principal actividad es la compra y venta de bienes, inicialmente se realizó un diagnóstico donde se comparó la práctica contable actual de Inventarios con respecto a las NIIF para Pymes, se analizó los impactos contables y financieros que conlleva su aplicación y finalmente se hicieron recomendaciones acerca del tratamiento contable indicando los juicios profesionales esenciales necesarios para la contabilización y medición de inventarios bajo este estándar, determinando el costo y su posterior reconocimiento como un gasto, proporcionando una guía sobre las fórmulas para calcular los costos en los que incurre la empresa en el desarrollo de su actividad económica para dar la condición y ubicación actual de los inventarios. Supermarket PRODUCTS ANDI, is a commercial company whose main activity is the purchase and sale of goods, a diagnosis of comparison was made between the current accounting practice of inventories with regard to the IFRS for SMEs, the accounting and financial impacts of their application were analyzed and finally made recommendations on accounting treatment, indicating the necessary professional criteria for the measurement of inventories under this standard. Determining the cost and its subsequent recognition as an expense, providing a guide on the formulas to calculate the costs incurred by the company in the development of their economic activity to give the status and current location of inventories.
